As the survey is carried out in the bird migration period, we often have some visitors on board. Mostly, they stay outside, but sometimes they fly through the door of the bridge and flutter around. the officer has to keep an eye on the course and other traffic, so he cannot run around to catch the bird. Today, a kestrel entered the bridge. Rob caught it and Jan took the pictures.

Vreemde vogels/Birds
Aangezien we de survey in de vogeltrek periode uitvoeren, krijgen we soms bezoekers aan boord. Meestal blijven de vogels op dek, maar soms vliegen ze door de open deur de brug op. Dat zorgt dan voor wat gedoe, want een stuurman moet vooral blijven opletten en niet achter een vogel aan hoeven rennen om deze te vangen. Vandaag hadden we een torenvalk binnen op de brug. Rob ving het beest en Jan maakte de foto's.
