‘De laatste trek’/’The last haul’

There is a golden rule when you are on a survey: never do ‘the last haul’. Last hauls tend to be surrounded by magic power. In this case, it was the sixth and last haul on Friday. Normally, we do five hauls a day. In the Moray Firth the stations are located closer to each other than in other areas, so there was time to do an additional haul. Luckily the nets were not damaged, but we prefer more lively catches.
